I know, right?! If I had to associate Reign with any scene, I'd choose that one. I think it has to do with whenever they talk about being children together or show the flashbacks of them playing, it just pulls at my heartstrings.

They'd been fated to be together since they were children

That he doesn't mind waiting with Mary, that in fact it was his favorite time. How many Kings of any century would tell their Queens to not feel pressure on having an heir?!

Sorry for my rant guys. Francis is just so... I can't even put it into worlds. I just get so emotional about, Francis. He's one of my all time favorite male characters. And I actually get angry when I see hate for him in the tags. I've been taking his death pretty. dang. hard.

I think it is fitting to bid a fond farewell to Scene 6:

ODE to Scene 6 (really just a few observations on why it is hard to say good-bye)

- They are on their first "vacation" which they are doing just for themselves
- The trip is spontaneous
- Did I mention that they are going to Paris?
- Mary reveals a secret
- Francis becomes totally consumed with her, he is just gone
- Mary is in utter rapture
- Mary realizes that she doesn't really want to wait until they get to Paris
- They are in a horse-drawn carriage
- They are only human, after all

I hope I can join in and stop by more frequently. I'm finding my time is pretty sparse right now. So far, the holidays are kicking me right in the caboose.

I think I'm going to do 2 as well. But it pains me to do it!! It was so passionate!! Of course they were just so hot for each other during the coronation that they had to run back to their rooms! And their little sex cave
