I watched the promo. I'm not surprised they set it up the way they did so I'm not really too upset, just frustrated that they keep trying to shove that down our throats. I'll never believe what they want me to believe.

It really is funny that they're trying to convince us of that... They've done nothing to build suspense so the fact they're attempting to make us believe what they want us to is quite laughable. All anyone has to do is check out some of the actors'/crew members' Twitters and they'll know that nothing regarding this is left in mystery.

Andrea, it didn't surprise or upset me either. It's just annoying.

Kandace, I agree that it's quite funny. Honestly, anyone who has paid attention AT ALL to Reign bts would know the truth. Maybe it's just meant to get those who are less engaged in the fandom (and not following anyone involved in the show on twitter) to tune in.

exactly. Even if nothing had been revealed BTS, I still wouldn't have believed it because it's just a random time to kill off a main character. Those moments are usually saved for season or series finales, not some random episode late into a season.

Indeed. It would be completely random and make no sense at this point in the storyline, so...not believable at all.

Right? They take themselves very seriously, obviously.
I'm actually convinced that even the actors/crew are getting tired of trying to keep up the suspense. They know what the writers have done is ridiculous and pretty deplorable so they're done pretending that the show is doing well by the fans. It almost feels like (with the BTS pics) they've thrown us a bone to let us know not to stress too much. I'm not complaining, but I'm pretty sure (as you said) a good majority of the fans wouldn't have actually been scared by it due to the timing alone.

I'm just going to throw this in here:

I'm actually convinced of this too. Just by looking at some of the actors/crew's Twitter accounts, it's easy to see they feel the same way we do about all of this and want to throw us bones whenever possible. I'm completely fine with that because they're at least trying in their own way to make the fans happy. The writers haven't done that thus far.
