That sounds like such a cool wedding theme! And for some reason it reminded me of the RL Frary wedding - supposedly, the peak of the wedding celebrations was when miniature gillies with a masked nobleman sitting on each were rolled into the ball room. And we may never know the truth because we weren't there. Conflicting accounts also.

I prefer Francis picked Mary because they did choose each other.
