No, Alyssa was posting and they were in Caceres. Actually Torrance is only now in Madrid since he returned. He's been in Caceres all the time I guess and I have no idea where they film in Madrid and didn't even look because I knew he is not there since Alyssa was posting all the time about them not in Madrid but Caceres

Aww, you're so sweet. I'm glad that Mash didn't get the same storyline Monde did. I never wanted them to have an affair, that would've cheapened their story/bond for me. However, I did expect lingering feelings/looks and that sense of "what if" between them.

Mary and Bash riding together = Do you think the show used the same horses in 3x16 as in 1x08? In the world of the show, I'm sure those horses didn't make it from France to Scotland.

^ That's what I was saying. If Bash and Mary had been given another romantic storyline, it would not have been some cheap, moronic affair. It would have been genuine.

I expected that they would more consistently show that there were lingering feelings between Bash and Mary, too. Like you said, a sense of "what if." It was just so incomprehensible how their relationship was treated in Season 2. I also expected to them to continue to bond over losing Francis, but that didn't really happen either.

Probably not but I can pretend.

All of those would've been great. That's what really upset Mash fans, that the writers wanted to pretend they never meant anything to each other and they weren't even allowed to be friends anymore. Sometimes I wish the engagement hadn't happened just so that Mash could've remained close friends/confidants.

Mash fans had every reason to be upset. It didn't make any sense. Don't get me wrong... as a Frary fan, I was relieved that they ended the triangle. But I never wanted them to ignore Mash's bond or end their friendship.

I totally understand why some Mash fans were angry and left. The way they ended and never mentioned Mash again is kinda disrespectful and also in S3... the scene with Bash and Mary that made a lot of people believe Bash still loves her and maybe there is hope for them only to later separate them again...

It actually didn't bother me that they did that in s3 because I'm already numb to their tricks. And I knew it was short lived because Torrance was leaving the show. I live in my own little Mash world most of the time anyway. Anything we get on the show is just an added bonus.
