Tania I also thought Mary was using him before, and I never really liked Mary tbh. I guess they both bring the best in each other. I don't think Bash is a good person right now, he got broken along the way, he's not joyful anymore, not flirty he's definitely not "in it for her and only her" (her being Kenna) so I think for me it's more a case of they're annoying when they're apart, but awesome with each other.

I think I need to start reading some fics of them though

I think it kinda depends if they send Bash to Scotland or not. Catherine's not going to allow him to stay at French Court when she's the regent for Charles when Francis dies. And Torrance is popular ... so there's a chance

LostSpace,honestly I don't know if they'll go to Scotland,ever.They seriously used Mary's SLs from Scotland to France so anything they do in Scotln if tey go there will be just recycling old plots.Mary''s time in France is supppose to be happy yet they did exactly the opposite so how much more miserable can they make her in Scotland since they put her through every awful scenario they could think of.

Laurie keeps insisting that the show is about "Mary's" life. So, if the show continues, it goes well beyond Frary and into Scotland, completely without France at all. Though her ladies and hopefully Bash and maybe a few others (Leith?) will need to go to Scotland to continue Mary's life story when Francis dies.

Obviously the show takes liberties that have no basis in documented fact about Mary's life, but Laurie has said that they will be hitting the important historical points.

I agree.If they were commited into gong to Scotland they wouldn't have made Mary's life in France so terribale.Seriously what more can they do in Scotland that they haven't already done in France?
