The interview snippet below (particularly the bolded part) really makes me think that was it for Cassidy; Fogelman believes she played a "gigantic part" in Kevin's story already, and it sounds to me like they don't have a specific plan to bring her back yet. I also don't think it really works with the timeline. But I really, really hope I'm wrong!

I wouldnt call her role gigantic at all, at least not yet. and if that the case they totally lied to us and wasted time casting Jen for what 6 episodes?

Morning sickness suggests that the pregnancy is new so they would have had to reunite for her to be the momma... but her part just didn’t seem big to me? I bet they’re really going to tease us. I think Cassidy will be back in some way ... just not sure what

and I think they got engage after finding out they're expecting.

its only 9 months after Thanksgiving so he has to like go back continue being friends and goes to something more, they gets pregnant and later engage.

if we only knew jen was coming back

and there's no way to know if jen is filming because for one she won't post anything and second its a closed location and set. so we won't know
