I think they just wanted to shake up the cast ... by all accounts Jen is lovely to work with and very professional ... it seemed like they just wanted to rotate in some new people

in s4 there was a writers strike in Hollywood all shows were like 14/15 episodes even less.
and in this season when her character got sidelined reduced to just barely 5/10 minutes screen time

yeah she said she was 23 playing a 33 yo doctor.

her resume said she graduated med school the year she graduated high school

Jen played the role so well ... but also boo for the casting director. Were there no women in their 30's? typical
