I totally believe had Emma not left him behind on the beanstalk and she trusted him, things could have developed differently in season 2.
Also, if Colin didn't break his leg skiing, the storyline would have been different too. I think the love triangle with Neal was planned to start in s2 once he came onto the scene, but it had to be scrapped because of Colin's leg. But it's okay. The stuff we got in season 3a with the Neverland arc and 3b was great! I love it still  __________________

She had to leave him before he left her which was what was going in her mind as Jen said in her interviews too. And it also showed that he follows her in a way.
Yep the season 2B could of been different since Hook was suppose to meet Neal and so on in Manhattan, but as we know Colin broke his leg... __________________

the parallel with the FB and the beanstalk though
Emma offering Neal to steal the watches so they can have a home only for him to abandoning her. with Emma and Killian stealing the compass to go home, they did it together, she was afraid to trust him just because of what Neal did to her. it made perfect sense. and s3 was amazing for them and ending with Killian giving HIS home for her. |
