Season 6 is my favorite. I just love how they finished out the Red John story and how they dealt with the post-Red-John reboot.

When he's running around demanding water you can see how frantic he is - and then in the hospital when he's cleaning her face - it's so obvious that he's in love with her and terrified of what might have happened.
