I'm not sure jealous is quite it - at least not at that point. I think Jane was protective, and thought that Bosco and his interest in Lisbon wasn't good for her. He was married, after all - and Jane seemed to have pretty strong views about marriage and faithfulness.

I actually don't think Jane was the jealous type. Even with Mashburn, he seemed more protective than really jealous. And with Pike at first he was just sad, and then he became determined to manipulate things in his favor until that went wrong and he just laid his heart at Lisbon's feet.

I do wonder if Lisbon would have been as tender-hearted towards Bosco if he'd lived. I think a lot of how nice she was to him at the end was because she knew he was dying. If he'd lived and kept up his weird fascination for her, she might have told him off herself.

I read a fanfic that after he his wife found a safety deposit box with pics of Lisbon in it I saw it and thought yep possibility
