I mean like with monk he said he would think about eating after his wife case was solved but they showed him solving the case the last episode so you never saw him actually moving on with Jane you did and I am so glad we got to see him moving on

She loved his skills. I think she secretly loved that he didn't care what anyone thought of him and envied his ability to flaunt social conventions. I don't think she loved his demons - but she did understand them.

That's what makes it true love. Lisbon is one of the few people on earth who really knows Jane with all his good and bad qualities. She loves all of him.

And that's what I think started for her right from the beginning. I think she realized he was a con artist, and that he wrangled his way onto her team with that run-in with Hannigan. But rather than being upset by it, she found it endearing and I think she also respected - in an off-hand way - the lengths he would go to, because he was so intent on finding Red John.
