Well, Sweets was with Daisy, and certainly Daisy was set up to be a very annoying character. Yet, I think most fans liked both of the characters - because underneath they were actually very sweet, caring people.

I think Wainwright was shoved into a job that he wasn't really ready for. He wasn't ready for the sort of leadership needed to head a CBI team - he was too eager to please both those above him and those below. I think he might have gotten better, though, if he'd had the chance.

Michael Rady has done quite a bit of TV series. He's been on CSI:NY and ER, Grey's Anatomy, Greek, Melrose Place, Castle, House of Lies and Jane the Virgin just to name of few. And he's been a recurring character on several of those.

Even though I wasn't a big fan of Wainwright, he didn't deserve to be killed just to serve as a Red John body double.
