Anyone want some heat? Seems like we've had 90s every day for forever. Which is causing an issue for me because some of the meds I take make me even more sensitive to heat than I used to be, so if the forecast says 90 or above, I have to work from home. Not that I mind that - but I figure at some point, my boss may want to see my bright and shiny face.

We've had thunderstorms with torrential downpours every other day. And it's supposed to rain all day tomorrow. So far, this is the 5th wettest June on record for us, and after tomorrow it will almost definitely move up to 4th.

Keeping on the topic of weather, I'd really want some rain here too please. It's been forecasted for days but so far nothing.

The weekend rains got us to almost 12 inches for June - the 2nd wettest June on record. We're not likely to beat the record for first, though. We'd have to get almost 3 inches in just the next day and a half - and there's no rain in the forecast.

Looks like the heat will be back - but not so bad. Just high 80s are in the forecast.

Well, I can be a bit more current.

Yesterday after the rain stopped, a really dense fog rolled in. It made the July 4th fireworks sort of diffuse - so you saw the bright sparkles right as they went off, but then they got sort of fuzzy. It's hard to describe, but it was really pretty and unusual.
