According to IMDB, Amanda has a role in a thriller called Grandma Dearest that is in post-production. I have no stomach for thrillers, so I may have to miss this one. But I'm glad she's back in business!

I agree that Jordan Alan's probably a jerk. But all Mentalist cast members had their contracts and salaries re-negotiated until S7. And those salaries included a healthy bump for Owain, Tim and Amanda. The simple reason Owain and Amanda left was likely that the production wanted to save money. Not uncommon for long-running shows to ditch cast members when their contracts get too expensive. It's highly unlikely that Amanda, let alone her husband, asked to be paid the same money as Simon, and that that would have been a reason they were let go. Really no way.
