Part of me would love a season finale that somehow contrives to let us know that the original gang gets back together. I'm not sure how that would work - since Wayne and Grace have basically said they don't want to leave their business to return to police work, and I don't really see Jane, Lisbon and Cho leaving the FBI to team up in the private sector with Wayne and Grace. Maybe W/G could be hired as FBI consultants?

Actually, I think I'd be happy if we get any sort of acknowledgement of how tight the team was for the first 5.5 years - a guest appearance or two would make me happy. But there are so many ways TPTB could make it really special. Of course, a lot depends on Owain and Amanda's availability.

Question: If Craig hadn't turned out to be a bad guy, do you think Grace would have gone ahead with the wedding? Do you think they would have stayed married?

I suspect she would have gone through with the wedding, but I don't really think it would have worked out. I got the impression that Craig was a guy who expects his wife to be second place in the marriage in terms of career, and I don't think Grace would have gone along with that. Craig never actually said anything that gives me that impression, but I have it anyway.

And since I was a RigsPelt shipper before I was really a Jane/Lisbon shipper, I sort of think that Rigsby's continued presence in her life would eventually draw Grace back to him. I don't think she would actually cheat on her husband as long as they were married, but if she found she still had feelings for Rigsby, she would realize that her feelings for Craig just weren't all that strong.

I agree with you Heidi, I think they've gotten married but it wouldn't have worked out in the long run.

It might have been interesting if they had a kid - because obviously that is something Grace wanted - and then she and Rigsby wind up with a truly blended family. Watching Rigsby trying to tolerate visits from Craig would have been... interesting.
