I haven't watched Gotham at all. It has no appeal for me. It's sort of an interesting idea, but Gotham City without Batman is just

I was looking at his bio on IMDB and he doesn't have anything listed until 2000 - when he was 40. Makes me wonder what his first career was. Being curious I found out on Wikipedia that he worked as a soundman in England until he moved to the US in 1994. It's a pretty impressive leap to go from soundman to writer/producer/creator.

What few episodes I watched, it was a lot of political intrigue and some battle strategy. There's also quite a few pretty gory scenes, if I remember.

I might give it another try sometime. It happens sometimes that I try a series and don't like it at first, then go back and something clicks. The Mentalist was actually like that for me.
