Truly, Nici, I don't think Adalind was in an "understanding" frame of mind.
They had already told her that she would be killed, Renard and his mother would be killed; and in the end, Viktor would get the baby anyway. Who wouldn't feel Adalind's heartbreak?  I wish there had been time for her to consider it carefully, but she really didn't have any options. They had to take the decision out of her hands. They had to do it to protect the baby and save lives. You can be sure there will be much more to this, and hell to pay. I fear she'll jump headlong from the frying pan into the fire, though.  __________________

I can feel that there's payback time for the parties involved who separated Adalind from Diana, its kind of like the movie "Kill Bill" without the swords or whatnot!

Well if she finds out the "Resistance" stole Diana from Viktor, might she not then try to team up with the Royals and/or Stefania to get her back?
That's what I fear. They'd use her to get the baby, then kill her, Renard, and everyone else involved. __________________

No, it wouldn't be easy to kill her but she can't stay on the run with a baby forever. The Royals have henchmen everywhere, including the FBI.
Even Renard accepted that they would all be dead if they tried to keep Diana. __________________

I thought so, too, Anne.
Renard is a pretty powerful and well-connected guy with the Resistance behind him, plus being a Zauberbiest, yet he knows the Royals have it within their power to kill Adalind, his mother and himself if they want. The only chance to keep Diana away from them, really, was to hide her away from everyone - including himself. __________________
