Survivor: Season 3 Wesen - Round 1
RULES Vote to eliminate your least favorite Wesen in each Round Base your votes on any criteria: disgusting/frightening/interesting/exciting, etc. Your choice. Each Round will close after 72 hours -or- when one Wesen gets 5+ votes, whichever comes first. Ties will result in a double elimination. These represent the group of Wesen introduced in Season 3, in Alphabetical order. Note: I have not included the Scooby Gang Wesen: Blutbad, Fuchsbau, Eisbiber in the Survivor games as they are too popular and well-known. (The images are the best I can do .. I don't know how to re-size to make them the same dimensions. ) The Survivor of each game will go to the Finals! ~~ WESEN SURVIVOR ! SEASON 3, ROUND 1 ~~ 1. Anubis (Egyptian dog god-like) - introduced in 3x15, "Once We Were Gods" The Anubis is a powerful Wesen with Egyptian roots and a rich history. They are known to be protective of the dead and respectful of artifacts. Thus, they are often involved with the preservation of Wesen culture. In ancient Egypt, many Wesen species were worshiped as gods; the Anubis was worshiped as the protector of the dead and embalming. Anubis 2. Aswang (Ghoulish creature) - introduced in 3x14, "Mommy Dearest" When woged, Aswang are bald with pale grey skin. Their silver eyes glow faintly in the dark; and they possess needle-like fangs and claws. Notable for their black forked proboscis tongue that is able to stretch several times the length of their bodies and is used to pierce flesh. The firstborn son of an Aswang Wesen is expected to give up his first conceived child to his mother to extend her life. Aswang 3. El Cucuy (Spanish legend) - introduced in 3x05, "El Cucuy" aka "the Bogeyman;" El Cucuy responds to the mournful cries of women in times of great danger and fear... evil doers are dealt with mercilessly in Vigilante fashion, throats ripped out by powerful claws and teeth. El Cucuy 4. Gelumcaedus (Alligator-like) - introduced in 3x07, "Cold Blooded" Extremely strong and aggressive, they are capable of ripping their victims limb from limb. One of the oldest known Wesen, the Gelumcaedus were hired during Caligula’s reign to protect Roman aqueducts. They occupy underground sewers and aqueducts, having adapted to live in the dark and fetid conditions. They refer to Grimms by their Latin name, Dēcapitāre, which means “he who decapitates.” @ Gelumcaedus 5. Grausen (Demon-like) - introduced in 3x06, "Stories We Tell Our Young" Thought for centuries to be egomaniacal, demonic Wesen who had to be systematically destroyed as children, Juliette discovered that they are actually "normal" children infected by a mind and body-altering protozoa. While not actually Wesen, they will continue to appear in altered form from time to time and should be included in this mysterious group. Grausen 6. Hollentier (wild dog-like) - introduced in 3x05, "El Cucuy" Similar in appearance to Anubis and just as ancient, they are much more vicious. They were frequently shut up in Pharoah's tombs to protect them in the afterlife. Hollentier 7. Koschie (Radioactive human-like) - introduced in 3x09, "Red Menace" His touch possesses the powers of both dramatic healing and of horrific death from radiation burns, depending on his focus. If he conducts too many healings, his strength is sapped and he may die. Extreme mutual attraction with the opposite sex. Koschie .. x 8. Krampus (Evil Santa-like) - introduced in 3x08, "Twelve Days of Krampus" The opposite of Santa, he abducts naughty children and leaves lumps of coal in their place. He keeps them in baskets which he suspends in tall trees, eating them at his leisure. Krampus 9. Malin Fatal (Boar-like) - introduced in 3x09, "Red Menace" They kill with sharp tusks, slashing the victim's throat and allowing it to bleed out. They are loyal, strong and fierce, thus make great bodyguards. Malin Fatal 10. Manticore (Scorpion/Lion-like) - introduced in 3x11, "The Good Soldier" Excellent soldiers as they are not afraid of death and they view dying in battle as a very noble and worthy death. Extraordinarily strong and able to make astounding leaps; the "horn" at the end of their scorpion-like tail pierces their opponent's chest and injects a deadly neurotoxin-type venom. Manticore 11. Naiad (Water Nymph-like) - introduced in 3x04, "One Night Stand" Beautiful and mysterious, these Wesen can swim faster than a dolphin. In the woge'd state, they have webbing between fingers and feet become flipper-like and their eyes glow with intense light. Their skin will dry up and they die after being denied immersion in water for 24 hours or so. Males of the species are dangerous, having scales and sharp claws when woge'd; but they are incapable of breeding. Naiad 12. Pflichttreue (White Panther-like) - introduced in 3x06, "Stories We Tell Our Young" When woge'd, Pflichttreue gain glowing yellow-green eyes, sharp teeth, and dull white fur with black spots all over their bodies. They are quick and stealthy, able to appear and disappear without a trace. Best known is Alexander, an "enforcer" for the Wesen Council. Pflichttreue 13. Wildesheer (Wolf-like) aka "Berserkers"- introduced in 3x12, "The Wild Hunt" Ferocious in battle, they seek the most worthy warriors, force combat and collect their scalps. The scalps are then sewn into cloaks which seem to make them invulnerable, absorbing the strength of all the defeated warriors. Wildesheer can only be defeated by having their own hair taken. Their appearance is preceded by howling wind, apparently a harbinger of dreadful times to follow. Wildesheer 14. Yaguaraté (Jaguar-like) - introduced in 3x10, "Eyes of the Beholder" Better able to control the woge than most Wesen when angered or distressed, they are quite shy and prefer the shadows; but when pushed to the limit, they become ruthless killing machines. Yaguaraté Refer to the Grimm Wikia for additional information. __________________

Cathy! Somehow, I knew if you came over you'd vote Grausen.
Thanks, Patty! Your reasoning is sound. Quote:

Hi Nikki!
I thought the most important thing about "One Night Stand" was that Nick was able to stay underwater so long like it was nothing. Another side effect of his PTZD. I'm going with the Aswang. Quote:
