We had so many epic fights in the last episode. I didnt want to see Nick and Trubel fighting, but it was great. Nick had to be stopped. He was out of his mind with grief, especially after losing Adalind, Rosalee, and Monroe. Their deaths broke him. I loved that Trubel didn't back down. Mama Kelly and Aunt Marie was icing on the cake. I would have liked to see what Monroe and Rosalee children looked like though. At least we know they are fighting with Nick, Adalind and Diana, and Kelly. What a fierce team up!

Very nice episode with a very cute ending.

Still, NBC.....there was potential for a few more seasons.

I love reading all the comments. I cannot wait to catch up.

I still cannot believe it is all over.

I agree, the show could have continued

The last scene felt like a hint towards a spin-off show, no???

That was such an epic finale. The show could not have gone out a better way.

To be honest, I thought Renard would die....after all, he has done bad things. Also, I was worried about Eve/Juliette....I didn't see how she would come back from being a Hexenbiest.

Overall, it's almost a bit weird that everyone survived. Were they hoping that another network would pick up the show?

If that had been a thing, there are other characters besides Renard's whose deaths would've stuck as well.

No, I don't believe there was any belief in the show getting picked up elsewhere. I think they just wanted to end it on a happy note.

I thought the finale was okay, and given the past couple seasons, that's good enough for me, I guess. But I do think they went for shock value over solid closure with multiple characters and it ended up being very, very rushed. This show made one of its most common mistakes leading up to the finale - too many procedural stand alones not enough build up to the end.

I did like the return of Marie and Kelly, even though it kinda made no sense that they suddenly appeared to Nick. The over focus on Kelly and Diana has mostly been wasted on me - I especially wanted to see more of the main cast after it was over and before they skipped forward 20 years.

For me, I'll remember Grimm for its first 3 seasons, and it's fantastic cast. Its cast was the only reason I made it through to the end, being honest.

I doubt it. The Showrunners were done with it. They said it in an interview.

The Cast has moved on.
David has a new TV Pilot, Russell will be on a Netflix Show and Jacqueline is on a Netflix Show too.

Yeah, the showrunners sounded like they couldn't come up with any other stories. And I got the impression some of the cast members were ready to move on and most have.

As much as we'd like our favourite shows to stay on the air, I prefer them to come to an end instead of cliffhanger and cancelled.

Very well summarized, I agree totally.

Now, I can accept that everyone wanted to move on. I think it was the great Gene Roddenberry who said no show should last longer than 6 seasons....and one should quit while at the top! But see, I simply have a hard time believing the writers couldn't come up with new scenarios/stories anymore....what they delivered had been so consistently good, over the entire run of the show.....Plus, even S6 felt rushed as we just stated. They could've easily spread it out. Like exploring the world beyond the mirror alone was enough for an entire season, imo! And Renard's atonement for his sins while with 'Black Claw'....another great story arch. Oh, well.

Rest in piece, Grimm. We will miss you.
