Not all hexenbiests are evil like Adalind. She's not even so evil anymore, or I'm just used to her. There is Renard's mom and then there is Henrietta, and they seem to be "good" with a dose of "wild and untamed" in them.

Maybe that is a better way to describe a hexenbiest as Adalind and maybe Juliette, as untamed and feral. Juliette as a hexenbiest on the Scoobie team would be an asset.

I don't want her a Hexenbiest at all -- nice, mean or otherwise.

Oh, it seems to me that she is completely accepting her transformation, and actually wants it. In addition, she expects Nick to do the same almost immediately, which is unrealistic and selfish. She could, at the very least, give him an ounce of understanding. She is basically telling him, it is what it is, look at me and deal. I wanted to kick her ass.

I just don't see this as everyone else does. We shall agree to disagree.

Perhaps "made" Hexenbiests tend to be darker because of the sudden surge of power. They would quickly become addicted to it; whereas a "born" Hexenbiest would never have known what it was like not to have the power (unless, like Adalind, it had briefly been taken away).
Adalind always struck me as a spoiled child who never had to learn to play nice to get her way. She could always take whatever she wanted, and her mother encouraged it.

I suspect Juliette is going to take what she wants in much darker ways.

eta - Just thinking about this .. if Adalind's new foetus had a genetic test, whose (maternal) dna would it match?
Adalind was Juliette during the hour or so when she got pregnant by Nick. Did the spell work right down to the dna level?
