GRIMM Episode Discussion: 3x20, "My Fair Wesen" ~ Air Date May 02, 2014
 ~~~~~ ~~ Welcome to the Discussion! ~~ Episode 3x20: "My Fair Wesen" ~~~  Preview:  S0320 - My Fair Wesen 05/02/2014 (09:00PM EDT) : NICK AND HANK TAKE TRUBEL ON A RIDE ALONG – JACQUELINE TOBONI GUEST STARS -- Nick does his best to educate Trubel (guest star Jacqueline Toboni) on how best to handle the world she is learning about for the first time, and decides it best to bring her on a ride along with Hank. They find themselves investigating the homicide of a young woman that strikes a chord for Trubel. Meanwhile, Adalind makes a discovery that she hopes will lead her to regain something she has lost. Title card:  "No longer a dark, gray bird, ugly and disagreeable to look at, but a graceful and beautiful swan."  Episode Stills Next Episode: ~~ ~~ __________________

After that promo this episode seems like a filler!
I'm having mixed feelings with this Truble storyline. I like the idea of a badass female Grimm and a Grimm alumn for Nick but I find the execution a bit OTT just like the promotion of the character.  also I find her nick name as cheesy as Vicktor pipe. I means I find it fitting and funny last episode but just like a one time thing. Norberto Barba have been filming SVU and I feel like this was a crossover. So disappointed that non of the svu detectives showed up.  I wonder what Vicktor told Adalind because it looks like she has it for Renard and not in her usual way. __________________

The next 2 episodes are going to be really Intense. Probably finish with the biggest cliffhanger ever.
 I like Trubel and I think Jacqueline is pretty amazing for her first pro acting job; yet I'm uncomfortable with where this might end. Nick feels like her big brother but will Juliette feel she has to compete with her for Nick's attention? What is SVU? Do you think Viktor has already told Adalind he doesn't have Diana? I thought he was still keeping that from her so she'd do his bidding. Adalind has it in for Renard because she thinks he gave up their baby. He'd better be very afraid of her now.  __________________

True. But she thinks no one in Portland will help her so she'll do anything to get back to Diana - including whatever Viktor wants her to do.
She's blind to the fact that the Royals don't want her anywhere near that baby, even if they had her. __________________

But as long as Adalind tried to keep Diana with her, everyone would've been killed by the Royals one by one.
That's why Renard went along with the plan. He tried to make her understand that and she totally shut him down. They had no choice but to go behind her back. Good gosh, I have to go to bed! See you tomorrow! __________________

Good episode.
I like when Renard and Adalind told each other they were afraid of each other, but poor Adalind didn't want to be alone. I know she is skeeming, but still it was quite nice. Imagine what would happen if they made another baby. Another Royal baby. Adalind's only way to keep her baby would be if her and Meister had a baby. As bad as she can be, I still feel for poor Adalind. |
