Caaaarmen!! I hope they do too!!! So you get rest! Miss you!

I dealt with a sick cat today. She's 15ish and she hasn't been eating much the last fe days. Hopefully teh antibiotic will help.

Just need her to stop peeing on the furniture

Luckily this time..it didn't have the terrible smell because it was mostly the fludis the vet pushed into her. Now I just need her to poo...then she'll hopefully start to eat.

I know! I've been trying different things. She drank a bit of normal milk today. So, I hope it'll cause things to move. I really don't want to take her back to the vet. I might try Pumpkin again this weeken.

I hope you got some sleep!

Yeah..she's only had nibbles of food since Tuesday. She's drinking water for the most part..but since she's not eating..she's going to develop fatty liver disease which my other cat ended up getting because seh wasn't eating enough. I think she might have a blockage but I'm not sure cause I don't know how to tell? But it would make sense. Adn since she's 15ish...I won't put her through a surgery. So, I'll see how this weekend goes I guess and then call them again on Monday.

Enjoy your night off Carmen Enjoy all the sleep you can

Sorry to hear that Jenn I hope your cat is able to pull through and starts eating again soon. It must be so hard to see her having so much trouble.

Thanks Amy. I've tried different things today and still nothing really. She took a few bites of tuna. And I kinda made her drink some milk supplement.

I'm going to call the vet on Monday.

Hopefully the vet will have some suggestions to help her. Let us know what they say after you call.

I really think their suggestion will be a feeding tube which I won't put her through. Since she's not eating..she's most like going to develop fatty liver disease which her body will feed of the fat she has stored..I think. My other cat ended up getting that after eating something she wasn't supposed to and then threw it up. There was some damage in her stomach we didn't know about and she stopped eating too. But she was only 2.

yeah I don't blame you. She's 15 so a feeding tube would be so hard on her.

So sorry about your other kitty
