Not gonna lie. I always want to write some Jack and Seth meeting. Seth is Silas's precious "puppy". He's the favorite son. And in the pilot, Silas even mentions something about "if you were my second son..."

Also, Silas calls Michelle and Seth both "puppy."

Yeah, I noticed Silas calling both Seth and Michelle puppy. I hate him so much.

Doesn't he say that it wouldn't matter if Jack was gay if he was the second son? I hate that thought, just by accident of birth and he has to spend his whole pretending to everyone about who he is.

I think it's even worse because Michelle was supposed to be barren because of her illness. So Jack was the only hope for future generations. So he had to suck is up. And that's why he was to be King. Because Michelle was older, but barren.

But, I didn't understand why Silas could have a secret life and Jack couldn't. Then, I thought that Silas probably would have been ok if his son really did sleep around with women. Considering what he calls him during David's trial.

I think it's more, once Jack shapes up and has a wife and heir, then he can do as he pleases. But not until the future of the line is secured.

Well, at end Jack's gonna be locked up with his finance until he gets her pregnant, so I guess that makes sense. I'm not going to be happy about it though.

Nope. That's the cruelest thing that's ever been done to him. Especially since his parents KNOW he can't do it. I really don't think he can possibly have sex with Lucinda. Especially not under these conditions.

Exactly! He doesn't deserve that and neither does Lucinda. What's she done that deserves being locked up with a man who doesn't love and will never be interested in her? Being turned into a baby making machine. Does anyone care how she's going to feel if Jack did get her pregnant and then they take the baby away from her? I think that is completely unforgivable.
