No, it didn’t. I think it was a cop-out and would have made more sense if it was Jenny. I love that Dan & Serena finally ended up together, but for him to have been GG the whole time just didn’t add up, but those are TV series for you. So many inconsistencies when all is said & done.

He looks so scruffy & rugged in that gifset!

I think they just pulled a name out of a hat, with how much sense it made.

So, I didn't like how it ended with Serena because of that. I think it would have worked if they either didn't reveal who Gossip Girl was or picked someone that did make sense.

I loved his character. Carter should have been series regular.
