Hello everyone,

welcome to our big Game of Thrones season rewatch. We are planning to watch all 7 seasons before the last one is airing in April. I did the math and we need to watch at least 3 episodes per week. You guys can of course watch or skip whatever you want, I'll make a post with the new episode trailer and we can discuss that episode for a few days before we switch to the next. The time schedule is tight I know, but just join and watch whatever you want. It's about having fun and refreshing our minds before the last epic season is airing.

amazing thanks

i have that season very well in mind and 1x01 is one of my most watched episodes. god, i miss the Starks so much it was the beginning of everything and this episode was enough to get me on board with this amazing show.

Good old pilot. The Stark moments are gold until this day. And the direwolf pups are just too cool. Viserys was immediately detestable and Daenerys was definitely a character you feel bad for...and be amazed by.

This counts to one of my most favorite episodes just because you get this very special feeling, know what I mean?

"The Kingsroad" is only the second episode and, while the pilot is marginally superior, the quality is just as brilliant as before. not many shows have their overall quality, tones, themes and characterisations so spot on and well-established when it first starts, but this show is one of the strongest exceptions.

Second episode...and just as brilliant as 1x01! Following the amazing pilot episode, this episode does not for the most part introduce any more character. It lets you get to know the character you got saw in the premier. It shows how much layered each character is. Joffrey appeared to be a nice guy and for a moment I remember I even found him and Sansa cute when I was watching the first time. OMG

Dany has such a difficult life back then. Poor thing!

I guess my favorite was Ned at the beginning together with Dany.

Ned was my favorite throughout the whole first season. I'm glad I knew already he'd die before.
