I hope it's nothing to do with concerns over fan reactions. I have seen nothing but love for actors like Iain and Nathalie.
D&D pulling out last minute is hilarious though, and pathetic. If they are so confident that they did right by this story then why are they hiding away? |

They should fear nothing, I just heard that a lot of the actors are taking the reaction to S8 very personally anyway. I think they're very emotionally invested so it's hard to separate the criticism from the hard work they put in. I get that they had some rough filming schedules, and that they spent such a huge part of their lives on GOT (especially the younger actors), so they're too attached to not take the reactions personally which is really sad. But Iain in particular, Jorah's end made full sense for his character and was before the extra awful second half of S8. Missandei's however was shown as a big catalyst for the "Mad Queen".Hopefully it's just other filming schedules that have gotten in the way.
I can't say I am surprised that D&D pulled out last minute, it's so cowardly. |

Iain and Jorah were one of the best things about season 8, but yeah I think you are right, it is tough for them to handle critizsim with all the hard work they put in. I totally understand when the actors don't wanna attend SDCC.
I laughed when I read D&D will be there too. Now that they canceled I am really not surprised |
