I can't even put into words how I feel about that scene and the whole episode, I will have to get my self together, again.

I'm both so happy but also even more scared than ever before.

The worst case scenario that is haunting my head at the moment is that.. this is the end of Jorah. This was their goodbye, their story is finished. Daenerys and Jorah found peace, forgiveness, understanding... he told her he loves her. We see her reaction, we can imagine what she feels too. It was both sad and beautiful. Jorah turning and riding away reminds me of Gendry rowing away to the darkness, his storyline buried. Its hard for me to imagine him returning to the story after disappearing - again. This is what I fear, and I pray that I'm wrong.


This could be also the beginning of something new. Firstly, Daenerys knows it now, she said it: she wants.... needs him by her side. Now Jorah definetely will have new hope and strength to do this trip. I'm disappointed that Dany is not going to take part in this endeavour, but she understandably has other concerns too.

Jorah is going somewhere, and it is not Mereen, I don't believe that he is going to wander aimlessly, he must have a plan, he always has, he is smart. It seems he is going to the opposite direction than the khalasaar which makes me really confused. I would have wanted him to travel to Asshai.. but his character is probably not important enough (although I stronly disagree ) to be followed to that part of the world alone.

I agree with LxieGrey, he will probably meet another important character, if he stays in the show, I doubt that he will just appear on Dany's doorsteps one day suddenly cured. Jorah might be going to the free cities - maybe he will meet Arya... oh gods I would love that.

I love Jorah's character more than any other. If the show doesn't give him everything - I hope the books will. (edit: lots of fanart, fan videos and fanfic is always nice too *hint hint*)

Anyways, I'm going back to watch the scene again and cry like a baby.

But Iain practically confirmed in the interview that he will be in season 7 and that is enough for me to hope that they will somehow meet again. SHE is the reason to why he still chooses to live, to end them apart like that wouldn´t be fair. I really hope he will find a cure. I see Jorah showing up again this season as a bonus right now.

See those looks at the end? To me they scream "We will get through this, we WILL see each other again" and they scream of HOPE *still trying to be positive and not to look stupid while doing it*

I think Jorah will be back, for a character who has been there since S1 it'd be a pretty fast exit. I hope he'll return by the end of the season, but who knows. I'm hoping he'll take a bit of a book-only character's plot (Victarion) and have his hand transformed by a red priest/priestess. The followers of R'hollor have been appearing more around Essos, literally the scene after this one even, the greyscale is on his arm, and hell I was saying the same about Melisandre conveniently being at the wall for Jon's death and it went exactly as I'd hoped. Jorah's arm would be all smoking and black but it'd be badass and better than greyscale!

Even if we just take the show by itself, the way they are talking doesn't sound like a final goodbye but a "Nope! You're not allowed to die now. Not sure there's anything useful in Mereen and I have to be there, but you have to make it"
