GUYS!!! I am back

OMG I cannot believe you actually made a thread for me, I am actually crying

Sorry I have been away for so long. As some of you might know my dad is ill and it has only gone for the worse. They thought it was Parkinson first but now he can’t walk anymore and they think he has had small bleedings inside the brain that has caused it. So now he has to sit in a wheelchair for the rest of his life probably. His mental ability has decreased also, he is slow in thought and is forgetful. It has been hard for me and my family but mostly for my dad of course since he has always been very active. But we’re trying to stay positive. I am planning to visit here more often now. You are the best

I am very sorry to hear this Julia. You told us about your Dad a bit before and we all hoped he'd improve. I imagine this must be a difficult situation and I just wish you all the best for you, your family and especially your Dad

Don't feel pressured to be here, just know you always has a place to come back when you want to and we are here to listen

It is beautiful, it is cruel. Nevertheless try to make the best out of it. I know it is an easy thing to say but it's true. You can do no more than showing love and Support. And I hope you have many People near you who can help you and your Family

We do have a good support system and my mom is such a hero, she takes care of my dad and she also helps my grandmother a lot. I try to help my mom as much as I can. But at the same time, life must go on and I hope I can learn things from this.
