I love Emilia's new promo interview where she says that her character is "unapologetically asking for power". Because how often do we see a female character being ambitious and also being a heroine in the story? Usually, only female villains are allowed to show ambitions while the "good girls" must sacrifice their goals for the men or for humanity or some other invented reason.

But here we have Dany a person who has shown desire to succeed her goal of becoming the Queen of Seven Kingdom ever since season 1. And you know what? That doesn't mean that she is not a good person or that she doesn't wish for the good of the realm as well. It just adds another layer to her complex personality and make her more realistic (bc in real life you can be ambitious and also have a good heart). I love her for that well written personality of hers.

On the other hand a person male or female unapologetically asking for power is rather evil. Well in 9 out of 10 cases at least.
