the show is so full of Jon/Dany parallels, this can't be just by accident. they thought the parallels out and are aware of them, i am sure.

Oh absolutely, these have been happening since the first episode. They are a big part of the books (the parallels) and a big part of the show. D&D called them Ice and Fire, they are definitely destined to meet.
