The cover is confirmed to have been shot during the time Kit and Emilia were in Iceland. That explains why you can see in their faces that it was really cold.
Well winter is now there so the cold is accurate however their faces also look very determined. I think that they shot it on purpose in the cold to depict the hardship and potential losses of the end conflicts. Jon and Dany are trying to get through everything together after all. |

Jon's coat is lined RED. TARGARYEN. RED. His new cloak is also a different color. His old one, the fur is brown. This one the fur is gray. And no Stark gorget on Jon's chest. Possibly no armor because the war is over and they won…? (Wishful thinking, but maybe not!)
Is it also just my imagination or is that a tiny baby bump under Dany's coat…? |

On the other hand this is just a promo pic. It doesn't reveal anything of the story at all. So Gabriel is right, we shouldn't get our hopes too high or see this pic as confirmation of anything

Logically I am too. I never believed one second Jonerys would fight each other for the throne, their love is stronger than that. I just wanted to point out that the promo pic doesn't confirm or deny anything. It's after all just one pic with no real plot (except of Jon's very telling outfit that he's embracing his Targaryen side now)
