Them wanting to rush the end in two short seasons was a red flag imo, I was pretty concerned about that when I first heard it!

I should have been warned about that too but I was trusting them so much, I wasn't too bothered when I heard that. I thought better wrapping it up instead of dragging it out too long and getting caught up in sub plotlines. How wrong I was.

I usually support shows quitting while they are ahead rather than going downhill, but GOT is such a compex story and there was still so much needed to bring the main characters together and tie their stories together to make a complete ending. I just hoped the showrunners knew better than I did and had a good plan, and we now know they didn't really care.

Out of all outcomes - I really expected this to be the least. I mean not the end itself, rather of how it ended. How D&D quitted this in such a disrespectful manner, how this end really served no one, how 9 years felt like a waste of time in the end (it isn't because I still adore Emilia and Dany so much).

Haha it was a lot worse than I was expecting too, and I was already nervous about S8! They managed to ruin almost every character.

i have 7 seasons of GoT on blu-ray, i'm trying to figure out how to get a copy of Season 8 without paying for it, no way no how am i going to reward HBO for that atrocious final season. i would like to have it to complete the series, and to watch the great early episodes again.
there used to be this video/music/games trade and buy store near me, but it closed down two years ago. i could've traded a bunch of stuff for a gently used copy of Season 8, but i refuse to buy it. i will not validate the stupidity of d$d nor the negligence of HBO in letting them run this great show into the ground in it's final season. d$d can go float themselves off Lexa's tower. __________________

GOT somehow magically just appeared on my boyfriend's computer, so I have no DVDs. I used to think I'd probably buy something cool when the show ended, but now I am glad I didn't!
