that 'script' just made things worse for this Season 8 debacle. smh.

i still believe (and always will) that Drogon deliberately burned the Iron Throne because his innate intelligence, loyalty to his mother, and mental connection to her, told him that she was the true heir to the throne, and he consciously made the decision to destroy it, so no other could rule from it. for me, The Mother Of Dragons is the one true heir to the Seven Realms throne. always.

I think no decent actor, writer, etc will be able to take the emmys serious any longer if they really give them an emmy for this crap.

i agree, season 8 'writing' does not deserve a nomination or a win. it is a travesty of a season and series ending.

Tywin did almost the same thing as Dany, right down to killing the opposing side when they surrender. And that's just one of his war crimes. Yet he while not loved was highly respected and not seen as mad, interesting. No big schemes to assassinate him despite being considered the most powerful man in Westeros, Tyrion killed him in rage over personal stuff.

And no way would Ramsay, Joffrey or even Cersei do anything so diabolical if they had dragons

not like Cersei basically did the closest thing one can do without dragons.

This is the one that actually got me kind of mad. Asha/Yara is one of my favourites in the book, to have her "afraid" of some girl she doesn't know to the point of not even verbally defending herself is so frustrating and OOC. I liked Arya, but I feel she became way too overpowered and plot-armoured by the end.

I don't trust the legitimacy of the emmys, but I'll still be really disappointed if this script wins best writing. I have read so many better ideas in random user comments across the internet.
