I know right. I mean I generally don't like long nails, but some classic longish pale nails are usually still seen as elegant.

that's not as bad as longer, glitter ones. but i also don't like fake nails at all. just natural does do it. the longer the nails, the scarier to me

and besides they are also uncomfortable.

Oh yeah fake isn't nice, but barely any woman nowadays actually grows them long bc it takes time and is difficult I think, so they just run to the nail salon and get the fake ones lol. But yeah they must be very uncomfortable. You just know all these celebs that always have fake nails have nothing physical to do. As for brie, she usally has short nails, it was only for the emmy awards last year i think that she got long nails.

some women especially in Hollywood still "need to fit in" with galas and big events, so that might also be a reason to get such nails.

Especially the younger ones always have fake nails which I find a bit tacky, luckily alycia or also emilia are not like that. Though for an event it might make sense. Alycia once got fake ones for an emmy after party in 2018 and kept them for some weeks, but it was only that one time and they weren't that long after all.
