i like to think Dany rides Drogon again over old Valyria, keeping watch as her people rebuild the ruined/sunken city.

Valyria is like Chernobyl. The danger has reduced, but it's still going to make you sick. I can't see her rebuilding in a place that had such a horrible, dangerous incident happen. I think she's just going to conquer Essos or be happy just being everyone's Khaleesi. The Dothraki have been her people since the beginning and she led them to an amazing victory and a ton of exciting wars.

She's always been a Khaleesi first and foremost. She's never needed to try very hard or do too much killing to get love and respect from them. I think a cool ending would have been Drogo trying to take it back for her, but gets killed. Jonerys could happen as a political remedy, but everyone would want Cersei dead. The rest doesn't matter. Cersei and the Night King both needed to die. If Drogo were alive, they would have all crapped their pants.
