Pretty annoying and not logical, the weakened lannisters beat them in one day in season 7. That part was the worst of season 7, bc they couldn't bother make 10 instead of 7 eps, they rushed that way too much.

Nah it's actually lazy writing, the tyrells where some of the strongest and defeated the baratheons.
