Do you guys think that this means there's a spy in Dany's court, since Euron is too often in the right place at the right time...as well as the Lanister army. Lord Varys?

Doubt it. If Dany won without any problems, the show wouldn't be thrilling any more

Either the spy theory or the writing has gotten ridiculous in order to move the show along

The ridiculous part is how speedy these ships seem to be. Euron is just all over the place. There and back again in the blink of an eye.

I don't mind the compressing the time making it look like things happened quickly, but that sailing must have taken weeks. Weeks to get there, weeks to get back. What is Dany doing in those months?

I think at this point we just have to accept some plot device storylines

Therefore the dialogues are on top this season.

I find it interesting that so many reviewers look at each episode in terms of how 'talking' it its. Sometimes, I long for more dialogue as that is the way in which we truly understand the characters. True, sometimes it's a bit perfunctory or wooden- designed more to move the story forward- but GoT writers have written some wonderful lines and I always look forward to 'hearing from' each character.

I'm with you. The dialogue throughout the entire series is much of what I feel sets it apart from other shows. The battle scenes are amazingly well done, but I don't think viewers would be as invested in their action and outcomes were it not for the level of character development. The books are very much the same way, and I feel the "talking" nature of the show adds to the connections between the books and the show.

That's why I can ignore some plot holes like mentioned before

I wonder if HBO is regretting their decision to end the show on season 8. These ratings are magnificent. But regardless, D&D are ultimately in control of this monster of a series. I hope six more episodes (post season 7) gives us enough content to end the entire series with. Each episode will have to be marginally longer.

There are rumors that the season 8 episodes will be up to two hours long, if so then it wouldn't be a problem.
