Wasn't the last thing that Meereen saw of Dany her running for her life on the back of Drogon leaving everyone else to fend for themselves? When, exactly, did she have the time to tell them not to have a party?

i think it's very self-explaining. if your parents are out, you don't have a party. or you have a party without your parents knowing. but having a party in the moment your parents are coming back is the worst thing that can happen

Getting their city attacked by the Masters = having a party?
Plus Tyrion drinking = the defenses are lax? Tyrion always drinks. He was left in management of Meereen with zero instruction. He tried to placate the Masters and it didn't work, which he says was a "mistake", but what should he have done? They clearly didn't have the men to mount a preemptive strike or anything like that. I mean, he managed to rally the city and raise morale. It's not like he did nothing. Then there's that little thing about plausibility, don't they have any sort of reconnaissance in place to warn them that a huge f¤cking armada of ships are approaching before they are at your doorsteps? Also, is that Tyrion's responsibility? I thought that Grey Worm was supposed to be the military commander in charge? I don't get it. But yes, I understand what the show is selling - "Tyrion f¤cked up", I just don't see it. __________________

It was Tyrion's plan and Peter himself said it didn't work out. So he did something wrong this time.
Though I agree with you kind of because Dany didn't have a better plan and I think she doesn't have the right to be pissed at Tyrion who tried to rescue the City. __________________
