We have a bunch of these high protective masks at home bc my dad knows somebody who works at a big medical laboratory and this someone diverted a few masks for us (not fully legal, but well). i also stayed inside a lot in march-may but now i am outgoing again and seeing friends. of course we always make sure we keep as safe as possible.

I think I kinda used all this as an excuse to just stay home all of the time.

I go out on walks and stuff and see one or two friends, but most people I know have gone back to work while I feel like I am in eternal lockdown. The weekdays are pretty quiet for me. I haven't seen my family at all this year because I live abroad and I am not willing to quarantine 2 weeks to visit the UK (and then quarantine another two weeks when I get back here)

The only nice part is that I can lie in most days

Definitely my weirdest year! I had time to study for my citizenship test at least, and now we have a holiday in less than a month that might be cancelled and might not be as it keeps changing thanks to the border rules. I can only laugh about it now
