With Posey, personally, I think it was mostly jealousy. He was supposed to be the main character and his relationship with Allison was supposed to be the main focus but it never was as Stiles & Derek (and their dynamic) were just that much more interesting.

I really like Posey, but he has said a few things that have really rubbed me the wrong way. The way he talked about Sterek in that interview was just such a huge turn off, which totally sucked because it then affected the way I felt about Scott in the show

It is so weird because in the first couple of seasons Posey was all for Sterek

That artwork is absolutely stunning

I think it's because Jeff Davis also was vocal about it so Sterek got even more attention because Jeff refused to address it or see it as what it could be, and less people cared about Scott and his journey in alphahood etc.
