I think he does know that he's hallucinating her...at least I hope so

'Cause, ...he's in bad shape, we could see that from the first episode, but it can get worse! If he really is not aware he's hallucinating her that means not only he's in this bad state but when he find out that Simmons actually left, he can get worse

i like what someone said on the Fitz thread, that he might be aware in a way that Jemma isn't actually there. And that's why he wouldn't let her help him with his tools.

I wonder why he chose to conjure up her outfit from FZZT though. The one she was wearing when they found out that she was sick.

I've always taken FZZT as a huge turning point for them, especially for him. I think it was the episode where he finally realised that he loves her as more than a friend, and it was the last outfit he saw her in before thinking he had lost her for good the first time around. That image of her wearing that and falling out of the Bus probably haunted him for a long time. And now that he has lost her again... It sort of makes sense to go back to that vision of her in that outfit.

Ugh, I still can't rewatch the episode yet

it's too painful.

But really, i should have known. Simmons was being way too gentle and sweet

and May didn't even look at her at all.
