I think that'll depend on what happens to Fitz, but it's a possibility. I like the idea of Trip and Simmons, so I hope it doesn't bother me if it does happen.

It's interesting to me that Trip was clearly crushing on Simmons and Fitz's feelings for her grew past friendship, but she didn't seem to pick up on any of it. Or we just didn't see enough of her perspective (especially with regards to Trip).

Yeah she really, really was oblivious to all these guys crushing on her

That's kind of nice though - her character is too focused on things besides boys. That almost never happens.

I just think Simmons is like the perfect character

There's something really special about her. I'll always love the way Joss (even if he's only a EP) portrays female characters.

Elizabeth said a while back that Jemma's main priority will be Fitz and his recovery next season. So whatever romantic feelings either guy has for her will be sidelined until Fitz is better. I cant see her moving on with Trip while Fitz is still recovering and I cant see her going there with Fitz until he's absolutely certain thats what he really wants either. Too much is at stake and Simmons is way too rational to be irrational when it comes to romance.

So no, I'm not worried.
