It depends on the network, but I'd say if you're doing above a 2.0 in the demos (nowadays) then you're relatively fine.

I also hope they have realistic expectations. That this is a niche show and may not appeal to all watchers, no matter the success of the movies. That if the popularity of the movies don't translate to the show, it doesn't mean that it's a failure. Yes, it's part of a shared universe but it should also be judged on its own merits.

Hypes can definitely endanger a show but I think that the show will still do good. The hype didn't ruin the movies from The Avengers franchsie, so I'm pretty confident the show will also do well.

Besides ABC needs a new drama, only Nashville made it to a 2nd season.

I think the show will do good. It's competition are 2 new FOX sitcoms (Dads seems like a definite cancelling candidate, the trailer was awful), NCIS, The Originals and The Biggest Loser. I think the show will do good. The Voice starts mid season but by then the show will have established itself. It's looking good imo.

What kind of numbers (post count-wise) would we need to be getting to be able to keep this board?

I know that for permanent boards you need to be average fifteen posts a day to remain off the warning list. Not sure when it comes to new boards though.

New shows are on a trial basis for 3 months, Jerry does weekly post counts and new baords should have at least 105 posts per week, meaning 15 per day. But post counts for shows that are added from the Fall poll don't start until the Pilot actually airs. So our board won't get weekly post counts until later next month.
