To make him go away she would need to aim better. I don't think she really wanted to kill him. She could have so easily. He turned his back on her because he trusts her. She could have got him in the head in one shot, but she shot him several times in the abdomen were she probably knew he had some type of shield on. She just wanted to slow him down.

I don't know just the season it's hard to tell skies feelings for award because you know she does say that she hates him but then again in the case of her shooting abilities she could've killed him considering that when she shot Donnie Her location was way further and higher and she was able to do a "kill shot "(although due to him having superpowers related to ice and the fact that where he was "killed" was at a cold place he could still be alive) but when he came to her shooting Lord which was a very close range she decides to shoot him in the abdomen which won't kill him instantly.

Lord I have to believe that his feelings will probably change a little for sky think about it you have this guy who is the person who has a crush on heat him he still willing to help her reunite with her father(despite his methods of doing so) and yet she still wants of shooting him and even if it was to slow him down, like others have said, he might not be able to understand that. due to a certain interview that was recently done with the creators I have reason to believe that they want to test out Ward and agent 33's chemistry(which if they do I hope they at least remove that mask very creepy to see Ward have any conversation with a woman who happens to have his ex-lover's face on)

I think they may just be rebuilding them from the bottom. Mo in the last few months told fans to ship it and that it won't go away. But hopefully they get more together but Ward barely got screen time in the first half of it.
