When ABC moved the show to 10pm after S3, I was certain this season would be the last. I've been assuming that for most of this year.
But there have been some hopeful signs lately that they'll get an S5. It's by no means a certainty, but at least it's a possibility now. __________________

I really hope so. They said they wrote/filmed this season's finale as if there was going to be more - so it would be really sad to not get any kind of closure if they chose to pull the plug on them now.

Marvel/disney wants this show , since it is there network TV place to keep the marvel name out there on TV . CW has all the DC shows ..

He played a great Malick!I'm ecstatic for the renewal of Shield! I hate that it's not until next January but I won't complain TOO much because we at least got another season.  __________________
