0-8-4 may refer to an object of an unknown origin. So aliens and such fits that description. We already know that something's off with Skye's DNA as confirmed by Raina.

I don't think they meant monsters like scary grrr, but monsters because of the countless people they killed to find her.

I couldn't tell, but when I watched the end of the episode I know that the arm was bloody, but was it also tinged pink? More pink or apricot than caucasions are? Because when I reading up on Kree, there are blue ones and ones that appear to be more human (such as the color of skin).

That little tidbit was in my mind for a while so I was thinking that my eyes were playing tricks on me when it came to the color of the arm.

I only noticed that it was bloody and couldn't tell if it's pink because all else was dark.
