I like Grant so much more now. He's definitely dangerous, but I still want to believe that he's a good guy underneath that Hydra Façade.

 .Let's add Garret to a thorn in my side. I won't feel better till him and Quinn are six feet under. Great acting from Clark tonight. I felt so bad for Coulson. Is Grant descending or conflicted? __________________

I hope that Ward really is a HYDRA agent. Then two things might happen, Coulson and his team will take him out . . . or he will actually switch sides.

No matter what happens Ward can't be on Coulson's team next season.
I expect the girl in the flower dress will kill Garret,but he'll probably become some monster after he dies and be an enemy all next year. She'll join Coulson's team, as will one of the black guys (if only for ethnic balance). I won't miss Ward from the show, and if he dies and stays dead the imposter who looks just like him in the middle of season two will confuse people for several episodes. In other words, they'll probably kill both characters but keep both actors. Can someone freeze-frame that map of the world? The SHIELD map should vary from what you find in an atlas. |

Not as action packed as last week, but that's not surprising. And even though not much happened, the episode wasn't boring. Which is a relief.
Biggest laugh was probably the Trip/Fitz exchange. "Have you even read Moby Dick?" "Yeah. Have you?" "That's besides the point." Patton Oswalt! Good to see Simmons standing up to Coulson again! Ward is so so interesting as the villain. "I'm everyone's type." YOU SLY BASTARD I LOVE YOU. I look forward to finding out more about the real Grant Ward. Coulson is clearly breaking down, and I don't blame him. Garrett continues to be a highly entertaining addition. I love how he shot down the enthusiastic Hydra agent. Good to see Raina back! I think her disillusionment over the Clairvoyant might lead to a shift in allegiance to Coulson. |

I also think that Raina could change allegeance because it was so obvious she was deceive by Garrett. Here, she thought he had real power but it turns out he was just a fake. It had me thinking. Skye being and 084- could she be some kind of clairvoyant? I guess we won't know this season but I hope they address it before the season end. And I want them to see the writers redeem Grant has it's obvious he's torn between his feelings for Slye ( and the team) and his loyalty for Garret. |
