Wasn't that the cheapest imitation of Las Vegas you've ever seen?
I think that was Vegas. I know the strip was actually Vegas, and I want to think that the filming inside was an actual casino as well.

Likes:
-Yay, Skye's awake
-The conversation between Skye/Ward. I know it wasn't much, but Ward was smiling more at her than I've ever seen him smile.
-Bringing in more prominent characters from the marvel movies.
- Lady Sif's knowledge about blue aliens and given 'Son of Coul' a list of them. It should make it easier for him to start looking somewhere.
- The end of Mayward
- Fitz not wanting to hurt Simmons even when he was under control.
- The bond between Coulson/Skye is growing and I'm glad that they'll have each other to turn to (since they've decided not to tell anyone else)

Dislikes:
- All the secrets!!
- Hate that Skye and Coulson are going to lie/keep the truth from the others. I understand the reasoning, but it's going to come back and bite them in the ass!
- Just how much sex does Ward get to have and why does he seem to be the only one?
- Why make it look like May is going to betray Coulson/the team. And more than that, where does she get off being so angry with Skye (about Skye's ties to the Rising Tide) when she has her own agenda above the group?

It'd be better than having him just be a cheap cameo
It would be neat if he had a bigger role, but he's never had more than a cameo in any marvel movies. I kind of like that tradition and I'm glad he did it for the show.

I don't understand. You don't like the idea of Coulson and Skye keeping the source of the serum a secret. Yet, at the same time, you don't like the fact that May knows. Uh . . . which is it?

Nor do I believe that May has "her own agenda". She was obvious recruited to keep an eye on Coulson. The question remains . . . by whom?

It's not that I don't like the fact that May knows, I don't like how the writers make it look like she's betraying the team or rather, betraying Coulson. Why paint her in a bad light, in any way? She's the freakin' Calvary!

As for the having her own agenda, bad choice of words on my part. I get that she was recruited, but my issue is that she was so upset with Skye for being part of Rising Tide. She was angry with Skye, not knowing her true reason for being with them. And while it could have gone worse, Skye wasn't going to betray SHIELD secrets, it was personal.

More than that though, it looked like she betrayed the team, which she did with keeping the truth from them. Now it looks like Melinda is or is going to.

I kind of feel bad for Ward and Fitzsimmons. They know so little. =/

No, I know. I didn't mean to sound like an idiot. I just meant the driving, I don't think it was a green screen. But it's been a while since I was inside the Cesar, so I don't know if the scene between Ward and Loreli (talking) was actually in there, I just meant that it looked more realistic than a set of some sort.

As for Ward and Fitzsimmons, it's definitely gonna cause drama. Fitzsimmons can get the group in trouble for just asking questions. And I do think the Skyeward thing is moving along, and that the secret that Skye and Coulson are keeping is going to impact the Skyeward thing as well.

Oh no! I was just affirming your response to whoever thought it wasn't Vegas, don't worry.

Good point. I don't need to be the Clairvoyant to know there's a major blow out coming.

THAT. The May twist was a surprise.

Interesting episode.

The fights were better done.

Must have got a new action director?

I thought it was a good ep with some SLs moving forward and some ending.

Overall I felt the whole thing with Lorelei & Sif a bit underwhelming. It's kind of like Thor/Loki to me, a less magnificent version. I do find Lorelei's 'power' cool.

Coulson & Skye's secret will blow over soon. So does May's, which btw was very interesting. Not to jump into anything but what exactly does she know?

Btw, are we eventually coming back to Skye's pursuit of her parents or will that be another SL closed for now?

I also hate that.

That one made me laugh. It's a bit unfair to the others, though.

That really confused me.

I agreed with what you liked about the episode.

I have a question to ask about the fight between May and Ward in this episode. What happened after Lady Sif had remove Lorelei's collar? It looked as if he continued to pull the trigger of the gun he held, despite Lady Sif ending the enchantment.

The timing is iffy but yeah he definitely pulled he trigger. But of course May had already taken out the cartridge.

Is it possible that Ward had deliberately took advantage of the situation to make a deliberate attempt on May's life?
