I'm also thinking .. Jemma told Bobbi and Fitz that there was a bit of flora but no fauna on the planet. So what was hunting her couldn't just be a simple predator, it would have nothing to hunt apart from people sent through portals, and it wouldn't be able to survive if it couldn't catch prey as vulnerable as Jemma. I think whatever it was was intelligent and playing with her. I would not be surprised if she actually knew a lot more about it then she's said so far, maybe even spoke to it.

I'm also thinking, if there are things about the experience that she finds difficult to talk about and that that's going to be expanded on in upcoming eps, it can't be as simple as flashbacks of her trying to survive alone on a desolate planet. There has to be more going on that's worth telling a story about.

Yeah for sure. I'm thinking it's likely she had to do things there that wouldn't necessarily sit well with her old moral code - or that she might be scared the rest of the team won't understand (though I'm sure they'd all understand she had to do anything she could to stay alive).

Yeah, I also think that whatever was hunting her was definitely intelligent - maybe even something or several somethings that had been sent through another portal before her. I have a feeling that whatever happened on that planet, it's going to be something huge...
