Elizabeth cries with her eyes. A lot of other actors, especially males, scrunch up their face but there are no tears, and it looks so fake.
I just think Elizabeth is one of those actresses who puts all of herself into her role, and we reap the benefits!  __________________

And in the end, after they've srunched up their faces, they blink a couple of times, before 1 little tear rolls right down from the middle of their eye over their cheek.

That's another thing that's sometimes really bothering me! One scene, someone cries. Next scene: eyes look perfect, make up's perfect, no red eyes, etc.

You know, this is the only time I've heard her laugh like this. She has other goofy laughs that Iain picks on in interviews, but I can't remember her laughing like this off the show or at another point in the show.

I feel like I remember reading/hearing somewhere that their reactions in that scene were genuine reactions to seeing him like that for the first time? I don't know if I'm making that up... It's getting kind of late

I used to live in Montreal, but I was just a baby so don't remember much. I've been to visit, however, since one of my aunts and uncles live there. It was winter then, so just stayed put at home. Too much snow to do a lot of exploring.
We went to Niagara Falls though!__________________
